The IRS sent armed agents into a family bakery and drained $68,382 from its bank account. Their “crime”? Depositing their OWN CASH in amounts under $10,000. Then the government demanded ANOTHER $160,000 and a guilty plea to a FELONY. The IRS called it “structuring”: deliberately keeping deposits small to dodge bank reporting rules. DAVID VOCATURA: “I said to them, ‘Maybe I should get a lawyer.’ And they said, ‘You don’t need one, step in the back.’” “Until the day they came in, I had no idea what structuring was.” “I’m a law-abiding citizen. I can’t remember the last time I got a speeding ticket.” Nearly three years after seizing the money, a prosecutor came back with a deal that carried up to FOUR YEARS IN PRISON: DAVID VOCATURA: “They wanted us to pay another additional $160,000 in fines and plead to a felony charge of structuring.” They refused. You bake bread for three generations. You pay your taxes. You put your own money in the bank. And the IRS treats you like a criminal, demanding nearly a quarter million dollars. CONTEXT: Fortunately, the IRS didn’t get away with this one. Hours after the Institute for Justice sued, the IRS agreed to return all $68,382.22. Two weeks later, it withdrew a grand jury subpoena demanding eight years of the bakery’s business records. Crazy that they tried to ruin a business over depositing money into their own bank account. Low-IQ burglar smashes into an Arizona tech company at 2 a.m. and hauls away dozens of EMPTY cardboard boxes. He was caught on camera, and the whole office is still laughing about it. Nicki Minaj says Democrats love Black voters right up until one of them has an opinion they didn’t approve. MINAJ: “We’re NOT ALLOWED TO THINK. We’re not allowed to voice concerns—to make an argument as to why we don’t like a particular candidate.” That’s when Democrats show their true colors. Black voters have learned the hard way what happens the moment they step out of line. MINAJ: “Smear campaigns. And just outright nasty behavior…” She’s speaking from experience. In 2021, Minaj said she wanted to do her own research on the COVID vaccine. Within hours, MSNBC was on air accusing her of getting people KILLED. They don’t even try to hide it: • In 2020, Joe Biden said any Black voter torn between him and Trump “ain’t Black.” • In 2022, Sunny Hostin said being a Black Republican is “an oxymoron.” MINAJ: “You only love me and respect me when I do as you say and don’t ask any questions.” If your respect for Black people depends on whether they obey you, it’s time to retire the lectures about racism. Bill Maher’s audience bursts out laughing as he torches woke colleges for being so obsessed with diversity that they’ve reinvented “segregated housing.” MAHER: “In 2023, when the Supreme Court ruled that colleges can’t use race-based admissions anymore, the counter-argument from universities was, ‘How can you? Diversity is the most important thing we do here.’ Okay, then why all the SEGREGATED housing on campuses?” And it’s not just housing. A National Association of Scholars survey of 173 colleges found 72% hold separate graduation ceremonies by race. The number of schools with no segregated programs at all? ONE. MAHER: “Harvard said, quote, ‘Diversity and difference are essential to academic excellence.’ Right, diversity and difference are essential. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be joining a house with 40 people who look EXACTLY like me.” Diversity is essential. Living with it, apparently, is optional. Carjacker in Georgia picks on the WRONG DoorDash driver and eats three rounds for it. The driver was minding his business in a parking lot when Benjamin Dasher got in his face and demanded he “buy me a 20 piece.” When the driver refused, Dasher shoved him. The driver went back to his car and grabbed his gun. Dasher followed, said he was taking the car, and the gun too, then lunged through the driver’s door. BIG MISTAKE. The driver fired three times. All three hit. Deputies say it was self-defense. NO CHARGES for the driver. Dasher, a convicted felon with a long rap sheet, is in the hospital after surgery. After that, straight to jail.
